ABOUT MULL
Mull is a wonderful, peaceful getaway with many interesting things to do and places to explore and is the second largest island of the inner Hebrides, with a coastline spanning 300 miles. The island is famous for its abundance of wildlife, magnificent scenery, history and rare geology. There are lots of opportunities to experience this beautiful island whether it be on one of the many fantastic trips or by simply exploring the landscape at your own pace.
There are many wildlife and boat trips offering the chance to discover different areas of the island and coastal waters. You will see lots of exciting wildlife such as otters, dolphins, basking sharks, and sea eagles to name a few, as well as exploring the nearby islands of Staffa and Lunga, famous for Fingal's cave and the resident characterful puffins!
Many visitors enjoy wandering around the colourful iconic fishing town of Tobermory with all it has to offer. There are also various historic sights such as Duart castle home to the MacLean clan near Craignure and the famous Iona Abbey on the beautiful Isle of Iona across the water from Fionnphort.
