The view that you see in
the title banner, is the view enjoyed by our three
holiday caravans and is also the view towards Mulls' now
famous White tailed Eagles territory and the
Loch Frisa viewing hide. The location
is absolutely ideal for birdwatchers, walkers, and
forest cyclists.
LOCATION
DESCRIPTION
Crannich Holiday Caravans are situated at Crannich
Farm within 150 acres of farmland in Glen Aros on the Isle of Mull. From our
land there are great walks, panoramic views of the glen, Loch Frisa and the
river Aros, with the Morvern hills in the distance and the most fantastic
sunsets
ACCOMMODATION
We have holiday
caravans which have identical facilities, set in their own grounds on land
nearby the farmhouse and barns. Each caravan sleeps four people comfortably with
two bedrooms, one double and a twin.
There is a
kitchen dining living area with gas cooker and oven, microwave, fridge freezer
and TV / DVD player and gas fire.
The bathroom has
hot shower hand basin and WC , and the twin room has facility to accommodate a
cot which can be provided on request.
The bathroom and
bedrooms all have electric heaters. All bed linen towels and tea towels are
included apart from cot bedding. Gas and electric are inclusive.
Outside each
caravan is a sitting area with a picnic table and garden . There is a fenced off pond which has recently been established
to attract wildlife. There is good separation between the caravans which all
have open views and each has its own parking space.
AVAILABILITY
Friday to Friday from April to the end of September to take advantage of the late ferry from Oban on Friday evenings at 10.30pm, and less traffic on the roads. Saturday to Saturday
availability in one of the
caravans - Please enquire for details
We are quite
happy with late arrivals within reason as long as we know in advance.
Caravans are available from 4pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by
10am on departure day.
Costs
£290.00 for 2009 per week per caravan (inclusive of V.A.T. )
£90.00 of this is payable in advance per week as a
deposit to secure your booking.
Price for 2011 will be £315.00 per week
All our caravans are
non-smoking
Please note: If the dates you are looking
for appear to be booked on the availability charts
it is advisable to contact us anyway as some of
these bookings may not be confirmed, and we may
still be able to
accommodate you in the caravans or in alternative
accommodation.'
